The Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Islamabad City has officially launched its Digital Membership Campaign 2026, marking a significant step towards strengthening grassroots engagement and expanding the party’s reach through modern digital platforms. The initiative aims to connect with citizens across Pakistan, particularly youth, women, and marginalized communities, while promoting the democratic and progressive vision of the party.
In a meeting held on June 15, PPP Islamabad City President Khan Iftikhar Shahzada and General Secretary Azhar Ali Khan announced the formation of a five-member Digital Membership Committee to spearhead the campaign. The committee comprises Uzma Osho Nasir (Information Secretary), Malik Zahid Iqbal (Deputy General Secretary), Abdul Nasir Jilani (Office Secretary), Dr. Abid Mehmood Mehr (Deputy Information Secretary), and Dr. Shehnaz Solangi (Deputy Information Secretary).
The committee has been entrusted with the responsibility of launching and managing the digital membership drive across all major social media platforms, including Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, and other digital channels. Through a comprehensive outreach strategy, the campaign will encourage citizens to become active members of the Pakistan Peoples Party and contribute to the strengthening of democratic values and institutions in the country.
The Digital Membership Committee will ensure an extensive awareness campaign highlighting PPP’s historic contributions and ongoing efforts in national development, social welfare, and public service. Special emphasis will be placed on showcasing the party’s initiatives aimed at empowering youth, promoting women’s leadership, protecting minority rights, and advancing inclusive development across Pakistan.
During the meeting, it was also decided that official PPP Membership Cards will be issued to all newly enrolled members as part of the digital registration process. This initiative is expected to enhance organizational connectivity and provide members with a stronger sense of participation and belonging within the party structure.
Speaking on the occasion, the party leadership reaffirmed PPP’s commitment to democratic principles, social justice, equality, and progressive governance. They emphasized that the Digital Membership Campaign 2026 is designed to engage a new generation of Pakistanis who aspire to build a modern, inclusive, and prosperous nation.
